Ian Duthie qualified from Kings College Hospital, Dental school in December 1979. Whilst studying at Kings he met Kim who was also at Kings training to be a dental nurse. They married in 1982 and opened their single handed dental practice on 17th May 1988. In 1993, they expanded to their present size of 2 surgeries to enable them to incorporate Kim's dad's ( John Holroyd ) practice on his retirement. Ian subsequently went on to study for the Royal College of Surgeons MFGDP which he successfully completed in 2000. He has been on the Local Dental Committee for 20 years and Chairman since 2006. He was Chairman of the Croydon Branch of the BDA between 1990— 1992

Kim  qualified as a dental nurse from Kings College Hospital, Dental School in August 1976 and gained her National Dental Nursing exam in 1977. In 1982, newly married, and whilst working for Croydon Community Dental Service she embarked on a two year part time course studying for her Further Education Teachers Certificate. She qualified in June 1984 - the month she gave birth to their first son John, who was subsequently followed by Mark (1986), Neil (Aug 1988) and Ross (1991). She completed the ILM Level 5 Award in Management qualification in 2010. Kim works full time in the practice making full use of all her qualifications. As she is a qualified dental nurse ,she is a registered Dental Care Professional with the General Dental Council and has been a member of the British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN) since 1976, for which she was recently made a fellow of the BADN, and has been a member of the British Dental Practice Managers Association (BDPMA) for over 15 years. Ian and Kim's passion for their family dental practice shines through and as they are a long standing local Addiscombe family have become well known in the local community. Kim served for 20 years on the Shirley Park Residents Association, as the original secretary, and then as a road rep.

qualified from Eastman Dental Hospital, London  in 2000. 

Our DF1  is Miss. Neeshita Ruparel B.D.S  (Birm)  Dentist's Register - GDC No. 229317

qualified from  Birmingham Dental Hospital in June 2012 and will be a member of the team until August 2013 .

Practice Philosophy

Together we aim to run a friendly, sympathetic and efficient Family Practice.  We warmly welcome babies and children and strongly believe that the earlier  children comes to meet us the better.  Likewise, we also welcome the older age group.
